Brief Personal History
When I was young, my mother was an architect and my father was a skilled trades worker. This meant my siblings and I grew up around construction. Being the oldest, I operated a variety of heavy machinery from a young age and was expected to learn a great deal about construction.
As I aged, I found an interest in science, engineering, and mathematics. There was a beauty to such things and it offered a fascinating way to look at one’s environment.
I continued to make objects and study theory. Eventually, I went to graduate school for engineering.
I’ve now spent the last three years working exclusively on my artistic practice.
